A Mechanical Contractor based in Northampton is now seeking a BIM Coordinator to work alongside the Estimating team and Bid Manager.

This successful Contractor works within Industrial and Commercial projects value ranging from £500,000 / £2M. The business currently turns over £19M and the current pipeline of work will increase this significantly.


The role :

As they expand their Pre-Construction Team they have an exciting opportunity for a Bid Coordinator to orchestrate the creation of bid proposal solutions ensuring compliance with key Client requirements and highlighting company value propositions.

The key objectives of the Role:

Responsibility for ensuring all necessary resources are provided to the tender process, the production of Bid Strategies, and assisting the Commercial team in the selection of subcontractors and suppliers for key packages (where required).

·Arranging tender submission document production and ensuring the appropriate members of the bid team answer queries from subcontractors/suppliers (RFI production and tracking).

·Attending hand-over meetings and briefing delivery team members on the tender bid approach.

·Undertaking project debriefs and eliciting feedback to improve tender and construction processes.

·Manage second stage engagement in partnership with the Pre-Construction Management team.
