A Mechanical Contractor based in Northampton are now seeking a BIM Manager during a very busy time and increase in work load

Working across Industrial and Commercial projects and are currently turning over around £20M


As a BIM Manager, you will oversee the production of project information models which contain 3D visualisations that bring together data, drawings and schedules associated with the design and installation phase of a project.

On a day to day basis the BIM Manager will work with Designers, Planners and Project Managers to assist within the development, reviews and extraction of information from data-rich models.


As the BIM Manager you will not have any design responsibilities, however, you will have a basic understanding of the modelling process,
have above average IT skills and the ability to use multiple software disciplines as you will be expected to “drive” the model during meetings.
You will also possess good written and verbal communication skills and will be expected to work collaboratively with all members of the supply chain.

A sound knowledge of quality and document management processes is extremely useful as you may be expected to assist with the creation and maintenance of Common Data Environments (CDE’s).”


Qualifications required ;

HNC/HND (or higher) in a construction-based subject such as building service
5 years’ experience within a construction-based role
An understanding / experience of all Mechanical Services
Knowledge and experience of AutoCad
