A exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fire Risk Assessor to work within an established Facilities Manager Service Provider.

This role will be based in Norwich with regular travel within the region and can also work from home. As a Fire Risk Assessor you will be responsible for assessing all passive fire risk (fire doors, fire exits, fire equipment etc…) ultimately ensuring fire compliance across a wide range of properties. You will provide operational support, undertaking fire risk assessments to influence a positive change in culture.  This is a demanding yet rewarding role, you will be a problem solver and solution finder.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for assessing all areas of fire safety advice;
  • Fire risk assessments;
  • Report writing;
  • Assisting in the development/continual improvement;
  • Review of fire safety related policies and procedures;
  • Keeping up to date with legislation;
  • Creating and maintaining relationships with internal managers;
  • Improving fire safety practise within workplace.
Ideal Candidate:
  • You will have previous experience in a Fire Safety role;
  • Detailed working knowledge of Fire Safety (Essential);
  • Educated to a proficient standard;
  • Ideally you will be registered with a professional fire regulatory body or institute;
  • Ability to work autonomously as you will be managing your own diary and prioritising your workload;
  • Excellent organisational skills and be able to work as part of a team;
  • A full UK driving license (Essential).

In return you will receive an basic salary of £46,000 plus company car or allowance and the ability to WFH at least 2 days a week!
