The Executive Network Groups specialist FM division are currently working with a North West based
Business who operates across the UK working closely with manufacturers and suppliers to deliver unrivalled security solutions. They are searching for a Technical Support Engineer (office based) who will be responsible for receiving and administrating all fault related phone calls or emails to the company.
 
Responsibilities for the Technical Support Engineer:
 

  • To be responsible for the ticketing system and to log and respond to support requests.
  • Provide phone/email support.
  • Remote technical support
  • Check on a daily basis RemServ and respond immediately to critical issues.
  • Diagnose faults over the phone and provide first line fault fixes
  • Escalate faults to 2nd and 3rd line support teams
  • Liaise with third party suppliers
  • Provide remote technical support to the installation teams and PM when required
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports to customers
  • Prepare false alarm management
 
Desirability’s for the Technical Support Engineer:
 
  • Degree or equivalent in IT
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Security industry
  • Effective verbal and listening communications skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of networking
